We recognize our responsibility to our customers and our employees in ensuring that all personnel assigned to perform duties are thoroughly trained and prepared to perform the required services. It is therefore our policy that all staff should receive appropriate training prior to being assigned to an operational role within the organisation.

The normal training required for personnel usually consist of both “corporate” and “site-specific” or “on-the-job” training.

Corporate Induction Training

Corporate Induction Training is mandatory before being assigned to any senior position. This training course is conducted under the guidance of the Regional Training Manager who continually monitors all candidates and regularly evaluates the course content to ensure it reflects the needs of all stakeholders (Customers, Employees, and the Company).

Corporate Induction Training normally takes 1-2 days and covers the key areas of:

  • Corporate Administration Requirements
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Working Instructions
  • Public Relations
  • Report Writing
  • Safety (OH&S)
  • Risk Management
  • Quality Assurance Processes
  • Site Security Procedures
  • Confidentiality
  • Radio Procedures

On The Job Training

At the start of a new contract, a “Site Operations Manual” will be prepared that lists site requirements. Procedures and Job Descriptions. These instructions are jointly reviewed to ensure currency, and accuracy and correctness and will include site-specific training sessions in emergency procedures for fire or other emergencies. Our personnel will also participate in regular fire drills at the site.

Each new employee is then trained in all site-specific requirements listed in the Site Operations Manual using the “buddy” system where the Site Representative uses a “Training Evaluation Checklist” to ensure that each item of training is met.

Once training is completed, the Training Evaluation Checklist is signed by our Site Representative to certify that full training has been provided, and is then countersigned by the employee to acknowledge their understanding of the training provided. Completed Training Evaluation Checklist are normally kept in the Site Operations Manual and/or placed on the Personnel Files maintained at the branch office.

OUR MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS HAVE COMPLETED BSB42015 CERTIFICATE 4 IN LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT.

OUR KEY STAFF HAVE COMPLETED CPP30316 CERTIFICATE 3 IN CLEANING OPERATIONS.
